Laptop Battery
We have all been there. Working on that extremely important assignment, close to finishing, and then we realize we are almost out of power. How could the laptop batteries give out that easily? Why didn’t my laptop battery last longer? What could I have done to make it last longer? Will I be fired? You can do something - not about the being fired part, you are on your own there. Guess What Most notebook batteries don’t last as long as they should. Some are supposed to last three or four hours but only make it to two - and you really could have used the extra hour or two the notebook battery would have given you. If only you hadn’t bought that discount laptop battery. How can I make them last longer? It depends on if you want to spend money or not. If you have a wish to spend money than you must be looking at buying an external laptop batter for $150 to $500. The $150 variety will only last around four hours - if that, whereas the $500 variety could last ten or more if you know what you’re doing.
But I don’t know what I’m doing That’s okay, you can still make your laptop battery last. The first thing you should know is that the larger your screen is - the quicker your battery goes. If you have a whopping 17 inch screen your laptop battery won’t last as long as it will on a 12 inch screen. The second thing you should do is dim your screen - the darker your screen the longer your laptop battery will last. Buying laptop batteries If you’re going to buy a laptop battery, consider going directly to the supplier’s website. The reason for that is that they will have discounts and cut out the middleman - effectively lowering the amount you have to pay. Be sure to check for special offers as well. Make sure you know what you’re buying though - sometimes a battery is an universal laptop battery, sometimes it can only be used with a certain brand. Know what you’re getting yourself into and you won’t be disappointed.
